Teen Mother Choices’ Next Generation

Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
One generation will commend your works to another;
they will tell of your mighty acts.
Psalm 145: 3-4 (NIV)

Today marks the 34th anniversary of the start of the Teen Mother Choices (TMC) Program. Since March 1, 1989, until today, TMC has consistently brought the hope of Jesus Christ to teen moms. Through His power and His love lived out by His people, Jesus stepped into the lives of teen moms, bringing hope, purpose, and the assurance of a future. Teen moms, whom we affectionately refer to as TMC Moms, graduated high school, went on to college, or found fulfilling employment. Teen Mother Choices International (TMCI) stands in awe of all God has done through the TMC Program and in the lives of those they served.

Here are just a few things God has done:

  • 98% of TMC Moms graduate from high school
  • 96% of TMC Moms go on to college or job-skills training
  • 85% of TMC Moms become independent adults and pay their rent or purchase a home
  • 100% of TMC Moms see and hear of the eternal love of Jesus Christ

Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise!

Former TMC Moms are returning to TMCI, asking how they can help the next generation! Two former TMC Moms have stepped into leadership roles within TMCI; Linda Crump as TMCI’s Executive Director and  Nicole Raidart as TMCI Board Member. They desire to continue God’s work through TMC and see the program grow to even more communities. These women are the next generation of TMCI leaders serving the next generation of TMC Moms!

For 34 years, I’ve been blessed beyond measure to have seen Christ’s hand of mercy, compassion, and forgiveness in the lives of TMC Moms. Today, I am grateful He is allowing me the privilege of seeing the next generation of TMCI leaders bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to future teen moms. God is going to use them mightily for His kingdom.

They “will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.”
