While our Program Directors are committed to providing support and encouragement every week to teen moms, they haven’t stopped being a wife, mothers, grandmothers (in some cases), friends, sisters, caregivers, and employees. It’s humbling to hear their stories of caring for ailing family members, homeschooling their children, or juggling their work schedules while planning weekly LifeSkills Workshops, meeting with volunteers, and working with their governing bodies.
These women are a blessing to their TMC Programs, and we, at TMCI, consider it a privilege to serve with them. As a token of our appreciation, TMCI has sent each Program Director a Mother’s Day basket containing a new TMC mug, hand-made potholders, a gas card, and an aromatherapy infuser. We value their partnership, sacrifices, and perseverance to honor others above themselves.
