I’m Christa March with Teen Mother Choices®️

Consider this …
At the launch of a new Teen Mother Choices®️ Program, one teen mom made this statement, “I thought you Christians weren’t supposed to like us.”

This raises important questions about what message the Christian community has been sending. Have we focused so much of our attention on the sanctity of life in the womb that we have failed to show compassion and support to teen mothers who made the life choice to parent their children? Do teen moms feel alienated and unwelcome in our churches, believing that they will be looked down upon rather than loved and cared for?

As Christ-followers, we must examine whether our actions and messaging have unintentionally marginalized teen mothers and their children. When it comes to serving the teen moms in our communities, the Church has an opportunity and responsibility to live out the Gospel in tangible ways by supporting and uplifting these brave young women.
