Please join us in welcoming Ruth Roman as the Program Director of TMC-Gurnee! Ruth came highly recommended by members of the church that will host the program, Immanuel Church in Gurnee. Ruth becomes the first TMC Program Director to be employed by TMCI, whose program will be governed by TMCI’s Board of Directors.
Ruth has a wealth of experience serving and working with people of all ages. She worked as a Field Supervisor, providing care for elderly clients. She translated training materials to Spanish and trained staff in their new roles. She served as a missionary in Honduras for three years and assisted her husband in planting churches. She worked in children’s ministries in those churches and created a support group for struggling mothers.
As she comes to mind, please pray for Ruth as she begins her Feasibility Study training. This portion of the training will have her interview organizations within her community and interview teen moms to determine their needs and interests.
Looking back over the past year, we can see how God sovereignly ordained the timing of this program and Ruth’s availability to say “Yes.” to the Program Director role. We are humbled and grateful to Him for His wisdom and provision. And we are excited to see what He will do in and through Ruth and the TMC-Gurnee program!
