God has graciously orchestrated the timing of Ketra’s joining the staff of TMCI to coincide with the next chapter of our story. With the establishment of the first TMCI-governed program, Ketra will serve as the Training Coach for the TMC-Gurnee location and TMCI’s Social Media Manager.
Ketra first learned about the TMC Program by reading an article that described the program, referenced Christa, and provided a phone number for more information. At that time, Ketra was serving as one of the Founders of a Pregnancy Care Center called Still Waters in Kaufman, Texas. The staff at the center began seeing former teenage clients return with repeat pregnancies and started praying about how to help them. She shared that after reading the article, she thought, “This is it!” The TMC Program was the answer to her prayers. She dialed the number and reached Christa directly. This divine appointment led to years of ministry partnership and friendship.
In 2010, Still Waters began offering the TMC Program to teen moms in their community. Although Ketra was the Executive Director, she felt it was essential to serve as the first Program Director to grasp the program entirely. She saw firsthand that this was a proven model and worked effectively with the women they served. She watched as these young women proved they could achieve their goals despite living in a world that underestimated them.
Ketra is excited to help new Program Directors through their training and implement the program in their communities. She’s also ready to help expand awareness of TMCI and the TMC Program through our social media channels.
Ketra resides in Texas with her husband of 37 years, Rob. They have two children, Kori and Kirstin, and a sweet chocolate lab named Bailey Bell.
