Consider this …
Recently, I was overcome with gratitude for the price Jesus paid so that I could have a relationship with God the Father. In prayer I said, “Lord Jesus, I don’t know if there are toilets in heaven, but out of a grateful heart for all you’ve done for me, it would be a privilege to clean those toilets for all eternity.”
Within a week of that prayer, God presented me with the opportunity to assist two family members with bathroom-related issues. As I tended to the second situation, I heard God’s gentle whisper, “You said you would be willing to do this in heaven. Are you willing to do it on earth?”
This humbling experience has reminded me that obedience to God should be reflected in how I live my life here on earth. May I have the humility to say “yes” to whatever tasks the Lord Jesus places before me, knowing that in doing so, I honor the price He paid.
