With 2019 being the 30th Anniversary of the start of Teen Mother Choice, Teen Mother Choices International established two (2) scholarships that would be given out each year; The Teen Mother Choices Program Participant Scholarship and The Second Generation Scholarship.
The Teen Mother Choices Program Participant Scholarship goes to a teen mom currently involved in a Teen Mother Choices Program. The 2019 recipient of this scholarship is Tori Nolen from the Teen Mother Choices Program (called Chosen) in Kaufman, TX. Tori attends University North Texas – Dallas, where she is working towards her degree in Public Health.
The Second Generation Scholarship goes a child of a former Teen Mother Choices Program Participant. The recipient of this year’s Second Generation Scholarship goes to Saige Albert. Saige’s mother was a part of Teen Mother Choices – Gurnee program in 2000. Saige attends Trinity Christian College and is working toward a degree in Nursing.
