Here's a little about me...
I am the Founder and CEO of Teen Mother Choices International (TMCI), a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering teen and young mothers through life-skills education, mentorship, and strong community support systems. For more than three decades, I have worked to develop sustainable, collaborative programs that help young families move toward stability, confidence, and long-term success.
My work began in 1984 with Youth for Christ’s Youth Guidance Program, where I served troubled and abused teenage girls. In 1987, after recognizing significant gaps in services for teen mothers who chose to parent, I conducted a feasibility study that led to the launch of Teen Mother Choices in 1989. What started as a small church-based program serving 12 young moms has since expanded to multiple locations and grown into an international training organization that equips churches, schools, and community partners to effectively serve young mothers in their own communities.
In addition to leading TMCI, I co-founded the Committee on Pregnant and Parenting Teens in Arlington Heights to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, authored a 365-day devotional created specifically for teen moms, and have been featured nationally, including on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. I remain committed to building partnerships and systems that create measurable, lasting outcomes for young mothers and their children.

Using God's Name Correctly
I’m Christa March with Teen Mother Choices.Consider this …
One of the most misunderstood commandments is, “Do not take the Lord’s name in vain.” Most people reduce it to profanity, but Scripture points to something deeper. To carry God’s name means to represent Him. So when we wear the label “Christian” but live in ways that look nothing like Jesus, we misuse His name. It’s possible to sing worship on Sunday and ignore compassion on Monday. To quote Scripture publicly while privately living with pride, dishonesty, or unforgiveness. That’s taking His name in vain — claiming His identity without reflecting His character.Jesus never called us to simply say His name. He called us to live like Him. Christianity was never meant to be a title we wear; it’s a life we surrender. To learn more about Teen Mother Choices, visit our website at teenmotherchoices.orgIs there Sin in our Camp?
I’m Christa March with Teen Mother Choices.
Consider this …
Joshua 7 opens with a shocking moment in Israel’s history. After the victory at Jericho, Israel was defeated by the tiny city of Ai. Joshua was confused and broken before God, but the Lord revealed the real issue: “Israel has sinned.” One man, Achan, secretly took what God had forbidden, and his hidden sin affected the entire camp.God’s call to Joshua was clear: consecrate yourselves. Before victory could return, sin had to be exposed and removed.
As believers today, we cannot ignore conviction from the Holy Spirit while expecting spiritual growth.
The question Joshua 7 asks each of us is simple: Is there sin in our camp? If so, expose it and repent. Only then will we see true spiritual growth.

I am Barabbas (Easter)
“I’m Christa March with Teen Mother Choices.
Consider this …
Barabbas. That name should’ve been a footnote in history; a criminal, guilty, and condemned. And yet on the first Easter weekend, Barabbas walks free, because Jesus takes his place.I am Barabbas, not because I’ve committed the same crimes, but because I know what it is to be guilty and condemned. And then, astonishingly, Jesus is treated like the rebel, so the real rebel can go free.
That’s what the cross means to me: substitution. Mercy, I didn’t earn and freedom I couldn’t buy.
And Jesus’ resurrection seals it. Easter Sunday declares that the One who took my place also broke the power of sin and death. Jesus didn’t just spare my life. He redeemed it.

Hope Has a Name
“I’m Christa March, with Teen Mother Choices.
Consider this …
I’m a sixteen-year-old girl, and in four weeks, I’m going to be someone’s mom.I’m scared. I’m scared of labor and scared of messing up. Some nights I lie awake, and my mind won’t stop racing! What happens if I can’t do this?
And then… there’s Jesus. A steady voice in the panic that says, “You are not alone. You and your baby are loved. I am still here.” When everything feels like it’s falling apart, He’s the only One who doesn’t turn away.
And He doesn’t just send comfort from far away, He sends His people. Someone who sits with me without judging. Someone who brings groceries, rides, diapers, prayer. Someone who looks me in the eye and reminds me: Hope has a name, and His name is Jesus.

Ravens are Unclean
“I’m Christa March, with Teen Mother Choices.
Consider this …
In 1 Kings 17:2–5, Elijah is in a dangerous situation. There’s a drought coming, the king is angry, and resources are drying up fast. Then God speaks with a plan that honestly sounds impossible! He says, “Go hide by the brook… and I have commanded ravens to feed you there.” Ravens aren’t the kind of creature you’d expect to deliver meals. They’re wild. Unreliable. And most amazingly of all, Elijah knew that Ravens were considered “unclean” animals! But that’s the point. God doesn’t need ideal conditions to keep His promises. He’s not limited by what looks logical, likely, or “proper.” If He can use ravens to sustain Elijah, He can use anything to provide, guide, and accomplish His will.
