Recently I had the joy of reconnecting with a dear friend and former Teen Mother Choices® Program Director, Stephanie Giarritta. We hadn’t talked in a while, but you know those people who slip right back into your life like no time has passed at all? That’s Stephanie.
As we caught up, I shared something God had been stirring in my heart: my discovery of the Tribe of Issachar—those people in Scripture who “understood the times and knew what Israel should do.” That phrase has been echoing in my soul, especially as I think about Teen Mother Choices’ ministry to teen mothers and how God’s clearly calling us to “throw out a wider net” so more young moms can be reached with the love of Jesus.
When I started talking about Issachar, Stephanie immediately leaned in. I could almost feel the Holy Spirit connecting dots for both of us—between biblical discernment and the very real, everyday challenges of serving young moms in our communities.
A few days later, Stephanie sent me something that blew me away:

Her words were thoughtful, courageous, and deeply rooted in Scripture. She wrote with the same compassion, clarity, and conviction she brought to her role as a Program Director—only now, it was spilling out onto the page in a way that can bless even more! (Thank you, Stephanie!)
