There’s a moment in the Christmas story that can feel almost too familiar: a young mother, exhausted and scared, with nowhere safe to go. Doors closing. Cold air. Uncertainty. And that aching question hanging in the dark: Will anyone make room for us?
At Teen Mother Choices, we’ve seen a modern ‘no room at the inn’ moment—more than once.
And I can’t shake the thought: when we help a young mother and her child find stability and dignity, it’s as if we’re standing at that first Christmas all over again—opening a door when the world keeps saying “no.”
Jesus put it plainly: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these …
you did for me.”(Matthew 25:40)
